I donīt know , but you have to change manually and it makes for a big difference if the journalist , tester or whoever have a good technique or not , and if the advertisers are of another brands ...:w:

Always the same the flesh part behind the wheel being the weakest part of the review!

It takes a couple of weeks before you really "understand" the RS4 (it's probably the same for many other cars). It is becoming harder and harder to have reliable review from people testing the car for only a couple of hours. That's without counting their personal preferences/convictions... (remember some reviewer judging the RS4 on its inability to drift!!!)

So now that I have one, I just don't really read the reviews since the only one that really counts is mine :king:

Just my two cents,

These tests aren't done in a controlled environment. Temperature and humidity will impact the times as well as winds and drivers to say nothing of the options on the car.

It's hot as hell in your country, that alone will knock a few tenths off.

Thank you all of you for the response.Dear Fab i agree with you for them. But the quickest Rs4 test is from the German and Swedish Auto motor und sport who had the same car (plates HN QU 401).Auto motor und sport worldwide has ISO 9001 for the tests. So I am suspicious about these cars of tests.I had 6 months ago some very serious "off the record" information (inside Audi-Neckarsulm) that about 550 preproduction rs4's in 2005 most of them grey and black had less power and most of them went to dealers, presentations, employees etc.worldwide.In 1-2 weeks i will race my RS4 with 4200GT,carrera S,Modena,M3 CS etc and i will try to make video. They are waiting me to exit from break in period. So I wiil answer the question who is right,Audi or the magazines.I hope Audi......
In the other month more magazines will have also tests of these cars and i will post also the results.Has anybody a test of RS4 in his country to show me the time and exit speed at 1km?Is it serious that the air temperature was 30 degrees of celsius? It is very usual in Greece.

The latest Top Gear Mag (Sep 06) in their long term test column, the writer said that after 1 month of driving the RS4 really corrupt this mind and soul that even the E60 M5 did not do it for him now. He will rather take the RS4 than the current M5 and that is how good the B7 RS4 is.

The reviewer have both the E60 M5 and B7 RS4 doing long term test at the same time. One UP for the RS4!!!!! :thumb:

Cheers!

Now we talk, that's the only valid test/comparaison you can do with cars of this magnitude.

The RS4s have engine-frombrosis, which basically mean the clot behind the wheel. Or maybe Audi detune the RS4 for the Greek market. They think you boys can handle the power.:hihi:

The auto moto und sport car is not an official import new car.It was a used car from Germany.

I just reached the 3000km mark and I've been pushing hard all the time since 2500km. The car is REALLY FAST and seems faster every day.

So I son't think we should to much rely on those dynos but just drive the RS4 as it should be and enjoy it :incar: :revs: :rs4addict

I'm reaching 8000km and I'm really starting to feel that new "push" from the car. You can feel some new power being unleashed at something like 6500rpm when you floor the car all the way from 4000 to 8000 you get I nice "little" whip effect when you cross 6500.

As you say Fab the car feels faster and stronger every day!:dig:

The latest information i had on Sunday was from the editor of Greek Sport auto.He told me that they do not push enough from standstill the Audis especially the 4wd because they had two-three times broken engine basis incidents. The same happened and with VW beetle 1.8 T.
