These are figures that make the Hypecars obsolete. I doubt the Lambo P640 will better this.

:harass: Over half a second faster than what Ferrari said was their ultimate car ( Enzo ). And they charged an extra £300K for the experience.:applause:

This car is faster in acceleration then the LP640, the LP640 does 0-125mph/200km/h in 12.1s

Brakes are also much better!!

When I said that I doubted the P640 would better it's time, I didn't think it would be almost 2 seconds slower. 1 or 2 tenths of seconds would be expected, but this difference puts into doubt that the Ferrari might be kicking out more power than stated.

Though the 599 say a better power to weight than the Lambo it has to do without the Lamboghini's AWD and will never be able to put the power to the road as well off the line. So though it will be beaten to 60mph and possibly 100mph by the P640, the Ferrari will eventually overtake it and slowly walk away.

Very fast indeed, but so it has the engine from the Enzo. Not many cars that can keep up with the 599 if these times is "the real thing".

Not a thumbs down to Quattroruote, it seems to be a great carmagazine. But still, it's an Italian newspaper. I'll wait with my final word until some more newspapers and maybe TV-shows have done there tests!

@Razor,

The LP640 is tested in a German magazine Auto Motor und Sport.

0-100 in 3.8s
0-160 in 8.3s
0-200 in 12.1s

1/4mile in 11.9s@197km/h

Braking from 100-0 (cold) 35m
100-0 (warm) 36m

ahaha... why people would buy the enzo when the 430 is faster? :D

I'd like to see that test with also che enzo and carrera GT with these new pirelli (I've hear the name PZero evoluzione...).

Like the story of all the GT3.... that from the mk1 they're all faster and faster (but much is beacause of the tyres...)

Our point exactly, when it isn't the Italians doing the test the cars don't perform as well and the same will be said for the Ferrari 599.:D

This is not wrong as we know italian well (I am italian by the way....) and those numbers seem to good to be true.

And if I remember well the posted article form the same magazine presenting the RS4 V8 figures, those were the worst times I ever saw for the RS4 :( which makes me a be doubtfull as well....
