Former M5 owner bought a RS4 :D

I haven't had time to drive it today because I had to go to a party but I come back tomorrow and write down the differences.

Best regards Kleiv.

Welcome to the forum.

Hope the party was cool

I would have ditched, and taken the car out for a run. :rs4kiss:

Very interested in your views on both (very nice) cars.

Very nice RS4 Kleiv!

I hope to spot it on Gothenburgs streets soon! :hahahehe:
If I will be able to see it, I might just hear it and then it's gone or..? :revs:

can't wait to hear some comparison notes. I am thinking about taking this step but you actually took the leap!!! I am thinking of going with the Avant so your opinion will be very important. Thanks.

For me the RS4 is a better car, the only thing you will miss is the lack of power but all other things will make it up for you.

do you mean it lacks power overall? or 500hp vs 420hp? That's not good at all if it lacks power... what about the handling? do you find the RS4 a much more nimble car around curvy roads?

well everything is relative right? i have never driven the M5, but the RS4 (which I own) does not lack power. its going to be near the M5 probably until you hit 90mph, and I believe it has better low end torque and a smoother powerband, but correct me if i'm wrong.

the RS4 handles gorgeously as well.

maybe i'll test drive an M5 to make a comparison.

Great car and love the color. I'm a Daytona owner myself (albeit RS6).

I think what he meant is the lack of additional power, much like what you have on tap in the M5. Have never been in either, so can't comment how different the buttocks dyno must feel on either.

What I meant is that the M5 is faster but the RS4 is better to turn with.
