I was there on Sunday at Waterfest 12. This is most likely going to be the last year I go, given that the Audi showing was quite weak. The ratio of VW to Audi is about 20-to-1! Pretty sad in fact.

Most of the kids don't even know what an RS6 is. I find it interesting that most Audi enthusiasts do know most marquee car brands and their models. Yet, VW enthusiasts don't even know marquee models that are half their DNA! The crowd was pretty young. I am happy to report that some of them actually brought their somewhat hottie girls, to what would have otherwise been one of the largest sausage fests I would have experienced. Most of the ladies did not seem happy to be walking around in 100F degree weather however.

Some of the photos below are the best my nephew took. There were others not so noteworthy. Best part was when I left. Please see last photos!

1. In case you did not know what C5 LEDs looked like already

2. Best in show if you ask me. Thing is fast. 500HP of goodness, and so hot in person. Just got to read all about it in the Porsche magazine "Excellence". Apparently only 20 are being made. Car on this photo is more up-to-date than the one in the magazine shots. Some CF accents around the body make it real hot.

3. Hot Wheels - except for the decals everywhere, the wheels are actually kind of nice looking, and the body kit as well. Really makes me want to own one.

4. Bling wheels

5. Wizard of Oz Wheels

6. Pimp Wheels

7. Best part of Waterfest is that I saw this bad a$$ beasts coming on my rear view mirror as I finally left the show.

Thank God the Gallardo was leading, which allowed me to keep up. Once, the Diablo took off, and it was gone in 2 seconds. He waited up for us. We did 3-digit speeds all the way. Highway clear for the most part. Extremely safe as we approached other traffic. Thanks Lambo fellas. Check the ad board on the 2nd pic!

Playing with the Lambos really was the most fun I've had. I think they might have been excited I was able to keep up. At the end, I went towards Lincoln Tunnel to NY City, and we got side-by-side, and we gave each other thumbs up.

That's all folks!

Do you have more information / weblink for the Cayman.

Here's some info on the Cayman S:

Excellence Magazine (http://www.excellence-mag.com/)

Farnbacher Loles has the 3.8L, 381HP X51 Power Kit motor from the Carrera S. It has the 911 Aero Kit front with 19" modular alloy wheels. CF mirrors, CF side vents, even CF gills at top of front bumper like GT2, and CF rear wing. Inside mostly custom.

If you supply the Cayman S, they do the transplant for about $60K. These folks work out of Danbury Connecticut.
