According to RoadandTrack.com, Continental's new ContiSportContact 3 tire will be OEM on "some new RS4s." They appear to be VERY high performance tires.

Sounds like a good tire. Will keep an eye out for reviews on tire rack.

Don't go out rushing to find the Conti Sport 3 based on this article. Every time Conti released a Sport tire (1 & 2), it was reviewed the same way. Yet, neither one of these was as good as other maximum performance tires. I'd be happier if my RS4 comes on the Rosso or the PS2.

I have the PS2 on mine and I drove them on the track a week ago. I even drove them pretty hard to say the least. I must admit that after 5 laps (2km per lap) the tires were showing some heating issues. But with 215kph in the straight maybe it’s just normal.
My overall experience with the PS2 was over my expectations, many were telling that those were not as “trackable” as the PZerro (but I never tried the PZerro…)

Personally, I wouldn't track either tire. That's why they make R-compounds these days. Now, if we could only get that P-Zero Corsa for the RS4...

I liked PS2 more on track than PZeros. I can't see problem driving on tracks with tyres like these. Just don't drive any 20 laps sets.

I sure won't. The problem would probably not be the tires but the driver (in my case) :)

I just did 7 laps last week and it was enough for me.

SANAIR, which is not exactly the best track I ever saw but it's near so I gave it a try. I did the road circuit not the trioval.

Ah ok, never been there. Only driven at St Eustache, Mecaglisse and Tremblant but none recently.
