At a recent event, standing 1000m. Our RUF R Turbo and Ghost Rider.
The bike has 417 hp on the rear wheel... :wo:

The Ghost Rider, is he not the guy that holds the World record for the Fastest wheelie, I think the speed was something like 196mph!!!!
Anyway, which won the Ruf or the bike? Silly question when the bike has 417hp.
Ok, how much did the bike win by?

This is just a picture from the starting grid. We had a long chat with GR. There was never an actual race between the two vechicles.
I think Ghost Rider managed to do an average speed of 204,557 km/h. This is the average speed one way there and one way back, 2 x 1000 m.
The RUF R Turbo did 169.833 km/h.
The Ultima GTR 800 hp+ managed 188 km/h.
Don't think that's very fast?
As a reference an F3 did 107,4 km/h.
And a highly tuned Volvo 850 Turbo managed 145,7 km/h.

BTW, the GR is also very good driver with car. I have seen him on the ring, very nice driving :incar:

The bike of the Ghostrider is a 'Hayabusa' Turbo with 499HP@ one wheel and a top speed @ one wheel of about 365km/h. On two wheels >400km/h
0-300km/h in +/-9s!!
The old hayabusa Turbo has 417HP.
Ghostrider is indeed the man with the record of the highest speed on one wheel and his name is:Patrick Fürstenhof.
He has been in The Netherlands on the Motor RAI (Bike Show) in Amsterdam :0:
