You can see some of today's A3 sportsback in the designs. And a lot of them are using the TT Shooting Brake's front end.

Wonder if Audi has the balls to produce a coupé de ville. Perhaps via the Bugatti or Bentley brand. Certainly would appeal to those customers that appreciate something different, even if it isn't completely logical.
