The record is broken!!!!!

362.4 km/h: The BRABUS ROCKET, built in small-series production based on the Mercedes CLS series, is the world's fastest sedan. During test runs on the high-speed track in the southern Italian town of Nardo the 348,000-euro high-performance automobile improved upon the previous record of 350.2 km/h, held also by BRABUS with the E V12 Biturbo.

0 - 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, 0 - 200 km/h in 10.5 seconds, 0 - 300 km/h in 29.5 seconds.

The CLS, now that's a Merc I do like. But man, the Brabus is one evil looking car. If the Devil came to town he would be driving that Brabus.

What do you all think about the price, 348,000 euros. That's about £245k.:MTM: I love Brabus cars but that price is just ridiculous.

I think the next RS6 will be able the be tuned to work this this animal for a hell of a lot less.

Am I the only one that finds the stats on those tires dangerous?

I mean, the highest load rating on the rear tires (285/30/19) is 98 or 1653lbs per corner. That is only 3306lbs for the whole rear. Now, under accelleration, at 200+ mph (since the car can do 220+) there has got to be more than just 3306lbs of force on those rear two tires.

Man, even a stock RS 6 has a load rating of 99! And the Bentley CGT has an OEM tire rating of 105 (or 2039lbs for each corner), much safer.

Wouldn't want to be in that thing at 200mph+ and have a tire go!!!

I like Brabus, but not the CLS.
