"Holy vorsprung durch technik, I flashed! I've blown my mind. It's that fast."

"Over the serpentine sections of rolling roadway, the RS6 behaved like a much smaller car, tighter even than a well-tuned S4. Steering wheel feedback was brilliant, offering just enough resistance to keep my hands in intimate contact with every movement of the front wheels. If Porsche made a sedan, it would behave like the RS6."

"And this won't be the last RS car you'll see here (USA)"

for sure the european car article is a very flattering one for
the RS6 (and therefor one of my favorites:D )

as for the motortrend story, although good it just goes to show
how misinformed the U.S. mags can be. although the one on the
website NOW has an accurate price, when it was originally printed
in the mag a couple of months back it showed base price at :
$65,000.00. what a joke:cheers:

I cant believe you guys forgot the best quote in the European Car article.

"THE GODS DRIVE THE AUDI RS6"

I might have gotten a word or two wrong but you get the praise the were trying to suggest.

Thank you Audi AND Quattro Gmbh.

" a rare animal, the world is simply not big enough to hold
more than a few of these.... so it will be with the RS6"

that's my favorite:cheers:

My favorite is from an edmunds.com review by D. John Booth:

"Mat the throttle and all hell breaks loose...the engine note turns as baritone as Barry White in full croon and the RS6 leaps ahead as if slammed in the rear bumper by a hurling meteor."

Here's the URL for one of my favorite articles:

http://www.audiworld.com/features/tests/2003rs6.shtml

Here are just a few of the great quotes, "Without question, it is the most charismatic powerplant to have graced any modern Audi." ... and, "As to turbo lag, that's easy. There isn't any. Not even a trace as this engine dumps 413 lb ft of torque on the deck, right here, right now."
