View Full Version : My new RS4 - with Pics :)

Well today we finally picked up the gorgeous thing - my best mate summed it up best, "It snarls at you but its wearing a tuxedo" LOL :D

All I can say is WOW - this car is amazing. It came with Pirelli PZeros which surprised me. This car is absolutely all good. Easy to drive - a sound to die for.

Ride is great - never harsh and always sure footed. I won't even try to write a review like some of the ones we've seen here but I will gladly answer any question. GazzaB and BryanF if you still want a ride PM me :D

Congratulations. I'm amazed you even had time to take the photo's. I can't tell you how envious I am. It's still about 8 weeks or so till mine arrives - same colour as yours.

I have 4 questions.1.In Greece pirelli p zero is an extra cost.Is it the same to you?2 Do you have normal suspension or ss+?3.How many miles had in the clock?4.Did you ask your dealer about delimiting it?Thank you in advance.

1.p zero was on the car - I did not order them and I did not pay extra. My dealer said that the previous RS4 they delivered had Michelin on it.

2. Normal suspension - no extras except sunroof and tinted windows

3. There were 50km on the clock when I got it.

4. I did not ask about delimiting the car

Michael - I was lucky enough to be able to get a deal through my work on insurance - $1400 - which is only $400 more than my TT. Drop Gazzab a line I think he had a line on something with GIO.

Excellent mate, we must catch up next weekend, I am back in Melbourne this Tuesday. Is that the darkest tint available? Looks magnificent, bring it on!!!

$1400 for insurance sounds OK.I've recieved a quote from RACV for $1650 with an excess of $1800 !!!.My 996 C4S (which is worth more) is only $1360 with a $400 excess ....Figure that out !

I'd be interested in hearing from Michael and Gazzab what quotes /experiences they have had.....

Bryan, for the M3 I had GIO, rated as one of the best car insurers by CHOICE, also very reasonable, I am back on deck tomorrow and will get a quote, I will send you a PM.

Are any of you Aussie guys getting insurance to cover for difference between insurance cover and the short fall?
