Autocar tested a standard Bentley GT or Flying Spur, I can't remember which but they got it to 208mph. If I'm not mistaken that is more than 331kph.

316 km/h is the vmax of a standard Conti.

On July 12th 2005 Autocar took a Bentley Flying Spur to Nardo and with four people on board drove it to a speed of 208mph.

This is the video footage.

The car was not altered by Bentley in any way.

But I am talking about a Continental GT ! ! !

And for the Continental Flying Spur, I have 312 km/h on the french Sport Auto magazine.

On the bentley web site, it says 318 km/h for the conti gt.

Cheers from Paris,
Frederic

Yes, I know it says 318km/h but you have to remember that Audi say their cars are limited to 155mph but we all know they can go to 165+mph no problem.

Autocar tested the GT at I think it was Nardo against. This was shortly after it's launch and it went to 206mph and then the limiter kicked in an dropped it back to 198mph before building again to the 206mph. This went on for 2 laps, this a mean average of 202mph, no bad.

With 90hp extra, we can seriously expect the car to be faster with MTM kit compair to the stock version. Otherwise, I am ready to drink some irish wine ! ! ! !
