Anybody knows what number the RS4 is capable of regarding lateral Gs? Some friend were asking if I knew and I had to admit that I didn't... :(

I think their car was on P Zero r-tires.

As Erik pointed out, tires have a lot to do with this. Also, testing conditions will make a difference. The upcoming August issue of Road & Track has a test of a base US RS4 against the 997 Carrera 4S. Lateral acceleration was measured at 0.88 g while the Porsche generated 0.96. The RS4 rode on P-Zero Rosso tires.

I think these figures are too optimistic. The one for the Carrera S is way too optimistic.
