RS4 0-60 in 4.3 seconds!

I currently own a 996 C4S and expect delivery of my Avus silver RS4 within the next 3 weeks.

It will be very interesting to compare the two.

8/10ths driving though, is real world stuff and 4 adults would never fit into my Porsche.

10/10 tenths is for the race track and only experienced a few times a year !

Do I have a perfect combination or should the Porsche be a turbo ??

It depends. Are you keeping the C4S to mostly drive on the track? If so, a GT3 may fit the bill better. Personally, I find the entire 996 series (except for the GT3) quite bland feeling on the track. The steering is numb and the car feels disconnected from the road.

Yes you do, because if you smask one of them, you always have the other to fall back on, something you couldn't if you only had a 997 Turbo.

I picked up an RS4 today. It is definitely quicker than my 997 Carrera S Cab. The Cab is certainly heavier than the coupe, but the RS4 still seems to be as quick as the 997S coupes I have driven in the past. I know there are reports of the 997S' sub-4 sec 0-60, but they sure don't feel that fast.

I notice that the RS 4 starts to trail ever so slightly to the Porsche once they pass the 60mph mark, but what is really interesting is that after they get to 100, the RS 4 actually pulls away!!! Incredible!
