Wasn't the installation a breeze?

They look sweet in your car.

Now, Stephan just needs to sell about 798 more sets of oem recaro seats in the US....before his work is done. Ha!!

Gents,

I'm considering this upgrade and speaking with Stephan. How difficult is the install? Isn't there a write up somewhere?

Many thanks,

CW

Very easy in the C5. Stephan is "top notch" to work with. I would wire him another $3500 in a "heart beat". :)

Nelson/Nene has a good set of instructions via:
www.htms.org

There are some caveats/questions:
1) Are the rear seats heated
2) Are the door panels a matched set and included, have manual sunshades (which will be rare)

I'll be in Frankfurt and Munich next week...so I might sync up with Stephan (FYI - he works at the Frankfurt airport). Shall I "hand deliver these funds"? :)

TeddyB,

Thanks for the point to NeNe's write up. That was the one I remembered seeing. I'm currently in communication with Stephan and will let you know what comes of it, if anything.

Thanks for the offer, and I'll let you know.

Best,

CW

Just finished my swap to the Euro Recaros, bought from Stephan a few weeks ago. Very easy install, but left my original door panels, no need to change with a matching set! I did, however, swap out the storage areas on the two front door panels to get rid of the seat memory buttons (which are not funtional anymore anyway). What a great improvement over the US stock seats....:addict: :addict:
