You've sen my posts on car care in preparation for the taking delivery of my RS4 - broker called today and the countdown begins - 20 June is D Day !

My dealer just rang to give me some great news !!!
My car docks in Melbourne on July 4th and I should be driving it by the 15th at the latest.
I think thats around the same time that gazzab gets his beast.
Thats a whole month earlier than they told me two weeks ago !!!!
When is yours due Michael ?

According to my dealer they think it should be in late August/first week of September.
Originally I was told the the build date as Week 24 and alst week that everything was still on track.
Do you recall what week yours was to be built?

Mine was built in week 20 (May 15th) with delivery now confirmed for July 14th /15th.This should put yours mid August.
Initially they couldn't tell me which ship mine was on and the expected delivery date was pushed out until mid/late August.I pushed the dealer and they finally confirmed yesterday the good news.
Your dealer should be able to look up on their system and tell you which ship it was despatched on and the expected docking date in Melbourne.Delivery is approx 10 days after that.
Lets know how you go !!

James please be quiet, you make the wait worse, Bryan, I was told pre cars that is in the docks was two weeks!!!!! But my dealer is trying to get some priority, I just know it that my car will arrive when I am overseas working, but back on the 16th July@!%^@#$%@#.

Sorry Gazza - FYI mine arrived in the country on the 9th - and as indicated by the dealer would take 2 weeks for me to get it.

My dealer tells me he has put a "rushed"order through Prix Car,so I hope the 10 days is accurate.July 15th is a Saturday.
That gives me the weekend to drive !!.If the delay is 14 days then it will be the middle of the next week AND I'II BE INTERSTATE at the end of the week ...aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
