View Full Version : So which is the best exhaust for the RS4?

A friend of mine bought the TopGear exhaust for his RS4.

Unfortunately he was not happy. It was the wrong type of sound and much too loud.

He was as unhappy with this system as he was happy with the TG system for his RS6 - and he really like that one!

So, anybody got a clue out there as what to buy?

How about MTM?
How about Abt?

I will say MTM of course ! ! !

Let me check if there is a sound file available for this MTM exhaust.

Monsieur Balsen, can you please also check the availability of 4 x 19" MTM bimoto for the RS4. They will be painted black so a nice pair of second hands is enough, but new also ok.

Iīm looking for this too . The Milltek ones have the end pipe that I like . But still searching . So help will be apreciated .:thumb:

Mr Balsen , I ask this here because it could help others . How the MTM exhaust manages the S button ? , all time on for me , but maybe not for everyone . Has it any power increase ? . The sound is dificult to define , original ones sound very good at high revs but at low revs a little soft , thatīs for me . Do you have any pic of it?

See below one picture of the MTM exhaust for the RS4 V8:

The rear silencers have two throttles. I check today for the S button.
