In Autocar this week, they tested the Bugatti on less than an ideal surface (quite dusty track) and it accelerated to 100kph in 2.8seconds and past the 160kph in 5.5seconds. The man from Bugatti was a bit disappointed this the results and at some time in the future they will be trying again, I hope it's at Bruntingthorpe. With that 2 mile runway, it will get to one hell of a speed.

They in topgear said that if you race mclaren F1 against Veyron, the veyron would be quicker opp 300 km/t even if the mclaren F1 got a rolling start in 180 km/t...!
that almost 2/3 of the speed.. :hahahehe:
