Erik just told me to sign up, as he saw me and my new baby on the m5boards!

So - here I am! Patrick, 26 year old from near Munich and ready for the rumble in the jungle mit my (wife's) brandnew RS4!

The car was supposed to be my wife's one (Touareg V10 before) but in fact she hasnt driven a single metre yet - taking the Mercedes now :bye2: .

Hello everyone!

My baby:

Great car, welcome to the forum.

Why you didn't go for ''bucket'' seats?

The care is mostly for the city and some Autobahn runs. If it would be used as a "Pistentool" for the Nurburgring, i would have ordered the bucket seats.

So we wanted to have some more comfort and this great looking white leather :) .

As my wife often uses the cars for trips with our 2 year old daughter, I dont think there is any childseat fitting in those bucket seats ;).

I could asume something like that as answer, but i was courious, anyway, fantastic looking car.

Was there any ''close encounters'' so far, after all you are living in the ''BMW land'', near Munchen if i understand you correctly.

Not really...

We needed a car with at least 4 doors and an engine which would make it able to also have some fun with the car ;).

She got a Touareg V10 TDI before, so we of course had a look at Q7, X5 and stuff. But as we visited the Audi Dealer, we saw the RS4 :hihi: . So it quite a fast deal, signed on the same day without any test drive or sth. like that.

Wiggum,

Welcome, to the group and what a class looking motor, love the light interior.

One question, as you use the Autobahns what it like up at the max and is it limited to 250kph or will it do a little more.

Hello and welcome Wiggum,

Thanks for including a pictiure of the engine. The main airflow pipe into the cylinder head looks different - larger - than it did on launch cars shown at various motor shows last year. Has the air flow been increased? it would be interesting to compare last year versus this year.

Being the Touareg driver, your wife nows the meaning of word torque, (750 NM!!!)

Interesting thing to me is that you actualy passed all those ''trendy'' SUVs and go directly for RS 4, nowdays seems that everybody is going for big seven seaters, but you go the otherways.

P.S.

Great car you have on the end of your post! (911 GT2)
