I've had the Volk Progressive TE now for about 2 weeks. I really love these rims.
The wheels weigh about 22lbs, which helps a lot with turn in. The stock 18" at 27lbs just take that much more effor to get on and off during the Winter.
They are 19x8.5 all around, with offset et29. I really feel that a more aggressive offset of about et24 or et20 might have been even better. Nonetheless, these rims were built for big brakes, and there is a good 20+ millimeters between the inner part of the spoke and the caliper.
I have tried them in the city as well on the highway. Got them to about 90MPH, and there is no vibration to speak of. The wheels are forged, which makes them pretty strong. Given that they are 19" in size, I sure hope they are, as I will need them to be, as I live up the Northeast USA.
My test tires are 255x35 Michelin Pilot Sports, which happen to be less wide then a regular 255 wide tire. They seem to give slightly less protection to the wheel, however no biggie.
I plan these wheels to be my Winter setup this coming Fall.
