The Swedish magazine AUTOMOBIL tested the new Audi RS4.
The have their own "A-Test" with different measuremennt as seen below.

As you can see the Audi RS4 does very well - (much) better than I had expected. It reaches Top 5 or Top 10 in most areas, and the competition is very hard!

The verdict for the Audi RS4 was:
"The RS4 is a compromise in harmony between winter capability and your racing license"
The one and only drawback was that they felt the RS4 lacked enough feedback in the steering wheel and pedals. But what you get instead is the possibility to load your car full with stuff, four passangers in comfort in every possible weahter, nothing the BMW M3 can't boast with.

The car was on Pirelli PZero Rossos. 255/35/19

The list is far from complete, but it gives you an idea.

Incredible!

So let me get this straight...

It beat or tied either an M5/M6 at:

*0-100 km/h
*Quarter mile (402 m)
*200 - 0 km/h (brakes)
*Highest speed the car can handle in a bend with 50 m radius
*Side acceleration (50 m radius)
*Slalom speed. Straigh slalom 25 m distance between cones
*Side acceleration. Highest side acceleration in the 25 m slalom

Call me stupid, but that ain't half bad.;)

Much better than I had expected too .:rs4addict
The other car in my list were the M6 and the Porsche but the compromise you said and the Audi treatment with my S4 made me go for the :rs4addict

May be when Ruf put some magic on the Cayman.... I have an empty place on the parking :D

I don't know 0-169mph in 30 seconds, there is something fishy here. It's fast but I didn't think it that fast. The best I have ever seen for a stock S4v8 was 58 seconds to the same speed, 75bhp doesn't make that much of a difference.

The last time I seen a video like that was a BMW M3 which also showed only the speedo, it turned out to have been be done on a rolling road. Also why is the ESP light flashing off and on right from the start of the run all the way for 169mph, I would have thought the tyres would have stop spinning long ago?

If I'am wrong and this is someone car, sorry.:0:
