Autobild RS4 vs Abt AS4 R

Hi all,

Autobild has released their test between the RS4 and Abt AS4 R Avant.

Nice to see the RS4 again do better than the Audi numbers. 15.4 to 200 is nice:rs4addict. With the pilot sport cups the Abt (1.47,42) is 1.3 secs faster than the RS4.

would be a tough choise for me... i looove turbos, but V8 is also soo nice :p

15.4 to 200kph is spectacular, getting close to M5 territory (BTW, EVO shows the RS 4 faster around their Bedford track than M5!).

Tough choice, but then, the ABT is 10K Euros more! Hmm...

Very hard choice..

Both are impressive engines.. LOVE the sound from the V6, but the RS4 feels more "real" to me so I would go for that!

look at the stat sheet...looks like the RS4 has pretty bad brake fade, at least compared to the AS4 R

10K difference in price, surely that's not what they're charging for just a 282kph chip change?

I for one hate the alloys, not nearly as nice as the Audi's. Does anyone know if MTM has done anything with the RS4 yet.

In this comparative, like many others here, my choice is definitively the B7 RS4. :rs4addict
