Does anyone know where I can get the front mtm grill badges and rear boot badges for my Bi-Turbo Allroad? It's going in next week for mtm stage 1 chip.

I'm also looking for a set of mtm floormats if they can be got.

Any ideas?

I realize that this will possibly sound heretical to many, but having seen the new "fish/bass-mouth" front-ended new Audis (A4/RS4, A6/S6-pictures only here in the US)), and having owned the RS6, I much prefer the older body style to the newer body styles. Just my opinion.

not heretical, there are no wrong opinions :)

i have to say, looking at those B5 RS4 pictures tugs at my heartstrings - i sold my B5 S4 2 years ago against my better judgement for money reasons, and i kick myself every day for it.. three things that strike me about the B5 RS4 pictures are:

1. nogaro blue never did photograph well.. all the pictures i ever took of mine were a little too light.. there's a depth to the color that seems to be lost on digital cameras..

2. the older design, while on the one hand very 'classic' and traditional design looks pretty dated next to the new designs coming out of germany as a whole.. everything is about crazy angles and dangerous proportions, from super-high beltlines to fascias that look sleepy, the new design rule seems to be no rules.. in that context the B5 looks way too conservative, IMHO.. i used to love that 'stealth' appeal, but now i rethink it..

3. the combination of #2 and the inherent "next iteration" of the B7 RS4 leads to a feeling of a sort of "it was a decent try", like audi took the A4 and said "what can we do to this without being all big-block american about it".. whereas now it's as though they said "ok ok, let's take a step back, build a much better A4 base platform, and then build a 4-door race car from the ground up with what we've learned." I'm speaking mostly about the B5, obviously the RS6 is in another class..

i consider the B7 RS4 to be a technical and evolutionary equivalent to the E46 M3.. purpose built after an established lineage of basically bolt-on upgraded model lines.. and i consider the E46 M3 to be one of the best cars ever built, ever..

that being said, yeah, part of me is still wistfully longing for the older body style, but nowhere near the amount i prefer the previous BMW 5/7-series over the new one.. i saw a new M5 yesterday and while it's an impressively performing piece of engineering marvelry, at the end of the day it looks like ass* to me..

anyhow, enough out of me for my first post.. :) :boring:

as for my presence here, i'm considering mortgaging my life on a new RS4, despite my better judgement, a 5 month old crying upstairs, and a wife who is an accountant and is despondent over our financial state.. wish me luck! :)

* just my opinion obviously.. it's grown on me a bit, but there are just too many things about the design i really don't like.. let's start and stop the conversation with those headlights.. ok? enough said, the rest of the car could be perfect, but it just looks too much like great aunt edna's sequin glasses.. or something elton john would wear.. i gotta love a car's design 100% before i'll drive it..

Me too, I love the new style, but it just doesnt look as purposefull and mean as the old avant style.
Maybe it'll grown on me over time.

The interior of the new RS4 is far nice though..
