View Full Version : Interior Temp Running Cold?

Periodically, the interior tempreture set at automatic and at 70 degrees farenheit pushes cold air in what seems to be an attempt to get to around 55 degrees.
This seems to occur after the car has been running for 30 minutes or more and particulary, after the engine is turned off and then back on.
My only immediate remedy for comfort is to shut off the automatic setting.
Any similar experiences and answers?
Thanks.

I had spoken to a engineer who worked on HVAC systems on cars - especially the new ones that have "brains". He told me that the "cool down" is to bring the car interior down to a temperature that allows the system to use a slower fan speed.
