Have some limited info on connections for the satnav+ but would like to connect DVD to the AV input on the system on my RS6. Does anyone have any experiance of this? Can see that it needs to connect to the tuner in the boot but have only the RGB output pins on the wiring diagram that go to the head unit to provide the TV picture. The audi wiring diagram does not show the composite or svhs inputs on the multipin connector that plugs into the tuner? Any clues? Help much needed on this one!!!
A FEW DAYS LATER
Spent all day at the dealers fixing an a8 tv system for them then turned my attention to my RS6 tv system. We took it out and found no connections on the rear or anywhere for that matter!!! It would seem that the multipin connector on the rear of the tuner is how you get video into the unit but having looked at the wiring diagrams audi only list the pins they use and not the unconnected one's This takes me back to square one again. What I need is a break out lead for this as someone must know the pin outs/in for this connector. Am trying other companies for help on this, any clues? I really thought this was going to be an easy one!! Have the pins for the head unit but this is no use as the tuner is connected to this and it would mess the system up to break into this connection
