I posted earlier saying I was interested in new RS4 this year. I'd just like to know for you in Toronto, how much do you think I'd pay in insurance premiums and monthly as a new Canadian driver.

I was thinking monthly could go as high as 600/mth. Am I right in my thnking

Thanks.

Hard to say but I think it might be expensive given that you never had a license before in Canada.

Shop around.... I go through CAA auto insurance brokers and my insurance provider is Aviva Traders. You could also call up Johnson Insurance (www.johnson.ca), many here in Toronto have saved a good chunk of money by switching to Johnson Insurance Brokers.

Auto insurance will also vary depending on where you live within the Greater Toronto Area, how much you drive for work, etc.

I'm also suspecting that given that the RS4 isn't here yet, most insurance companies won't have a rate for the RS4 yet, when I picked up my A4 in May last year, they didn't have the 2006 A4 (or 2005.5) in their system at the time.
