Mine intensity is set on full, but during daylight, the instrument seems to be simply lit by the ambient light and NOT the backlighting. Fine during nighttime. Comments?

Also, is there supposed to be a red LED light between the open and close buttons this is supposed to be lit?

Thank you for your comments, Gentlemen.

As far as I know, the instrument panel is supposed to be light sensitive, but you can also adjust with the dial on the dash. Look carefully and I think you will see that you can adjust it in full daylight - the changes just don't seem obvious with all that ambient light.

Sorry, not sure which buttons your second question refers to...

thanks so much for your feedback.

The light/LED(?) I was referring to is the one between the open/close buttons on the inside door handles....
