Hi friends,

Now that I am sure to be happy with my RNS-E, I have an XM Radio control module that works with the Symphony II radio. I had to upgrade to a new control module specific for the RNS-E.

If anyone is interested, I'll gladly send it off to you for a small price of about $200US. Brand new it went for $450, and current brand new prices are around $350.
It does not come with the installation bracket. The bracket can be purchased from your local dealership separately for about $35. I can supply you with bracket part number to be easier to find it. This was on my car for a good part of 9 months or so, and worked flawlessly for trips up and down the Northeast USA.

The module looks identical to the following:

The bracket that requires to be purchased looks identical to the following:

For a sample installation procedure, please look at steps 5 and 6 in my RNS-E write up (http://www.htms.org/rnse.html)!

If you feel $200 may be a bit high, please send me your best offer, and I will gladly consider it. Price does not include shipping, which is probably another $10 (shipping/insurance/packaging/etc)

Thank you.

I thought the 'E' version is what was needed for the RNS-e setup? That is what I was told on the navplus forum.

Bajo,
The picture show is the 'E' version which only works with the RNS-E. That is only an example picture shown. The actual item sent to the seller is the correct one for the Symphony II, which is not an 'E' version.

Does anyone still have an 'XM Radio control module for a Symphony II radio' still available?
