I did a quick search and didn't see any posts. Anyone have any experience with the MIL lamp staying lit?

Ok I will bite, mine did on my 1st RS6 and it was a "small evaporative leak" dealer said it was that I must have fueled the car running, which I didnt but have since on this RS6 and NEVER got a MIL for it.

Usually means something is array with the electronics monitoring sensors or faulty sensors themselves.

Get it checked ASAP.

Thanks for the "bite", given the lack of posts (0 found), I'm not surprised by the lack of response.
Its scheduled to go in tomorrow. Whats interesting was that when it turned it over this AM, there seemed to be a odd note to the exhaust that lasted just a few ticks. I did not think anything of it until after I noticed the light was still on.

Fuel cap was the first thing that came to mind, but wasn't the issue. Turns out it was a bad "evaporative emissions canister" in the fuel line. Parts in stock, good to go.

Mine was traced to a split vacuum line.
