Koenigsegg CCX to Debut in Geneva

There are no specifications available yet, but the Koenigsegg CCX is believed to be even more powerful than the 806-horsepower CCR. More information will be available next week, after its official debut.

Actually, it might beat the Bugatti Veyron speed record, 407 kmh. But I would prefer the Veyron four-wheel-drive instead of the Koenigsegg rwd at those speeds!

I guess there is no different at those speeds. Of course when you are speeding from 0 to xxxkm/h but at higher speeds it really doesn't matter.

The Veyrons record has already been broken by new Sallen S7. I heard..417km/h

* 0-100 km/h: 3.1 secs

the interesting thing though is that the veyron does 0 - 60 mph in 2.5 seconds even it has about 2 tons of weight on all 4 wheels. that comes to a weight/power ratio of about 2kg per bhp.
the koenigsegg has only about 1.2 tons and if the figures you mentioned are true 900 bhp, but still it needs 3.1 seconds to 60 mph. (weight/power ratio est. 1.34 kg per bhp)
with that figures the veyron is still more interesting to me because of setting off the laws of physics!

It is obviously served up much better if veyron does 0-62mph in 0.6s quicker than ccx;)

It has 806 hp just like the CCR, but this is after extensive modifications for it to be completely legal in California and able to run on 91 octane fuel and still make this power.

Reviewed on 5th gear recently.....couldnt start it. Then clutch went after half a lap. Tiff hated it.
