From time to time i am visiting (reading) threads on one forum dedicated to one of the biggest RS6 rivals (BMW M5).

Very comon storys there are about ''killing'' (racing) other cars with their ''beasts'' in traffic, interestingly. here i didn't saw either one post about RS6 ''killings''.

You will all agry that RS6 is more than capable for some serious pull offs.

Is drivers profile diferent between these cars or is something else in place?

Do YOU have some ''murders'' in your file?

Anybody???

Don't tell me you are using all 450+ hp just for ''cruising down the lane"?

Andy,

I did race a E55k a couple of weeks ago.
He was in front of me (both doing around 50-55mph) and he nailed it and I was ready for him but he was in front of me and I had a passenger with me. I was on his bumper until around 100mph and I flashed my lights and he moved over as I walked away from him until I hit 130 when I had to slow down, I had him by around 2 car lenghts. My car is chipped but still I was proud that I passed him and still could of kept going. He was alone in his car which I am sure would have helped me as my brother weighs around 250lbs.
We both had fun and gave each other the :0: and went on our merry little ways.
That was my first "E55 kill".
Still waiting for the new M5 to see what she will do, I am sure I will lose but then again you dont know until you try. The new M5 is supposed to be a screamer.

Andy, you are so correct !

Loosely translated for our Non-Serbian speaking friends here it goes something like this.

To win a battle you not only need a weapon but a strong and willing heart !

Benman,

I remember that post, that is such a KILL, you should have been locked up in a RS6 for life, with no chance for parole until the next gen RS6 shows up on our shores!!

My turn - driving to work early (6 am for a 7 am meeting) - half asleep - pull away from a stop light normally - ok maybe a little fast, notice a BRIGHT red car behind me. When we get to the next light he pulls along side - it is a SVT Mustang with some sort of VERY loud exhaust - thing sounds like a full up NASCAR. The guy is revving it so I know he wants to go.

Light turns green and....... he drops the clutch and sends his rear tires into clouds of smoke - I am 5-6 car lengths away before he gets the thing hooked up':bye2:'
= nothing like all wheel drive':rs6kiss:'

I let off at about 70 and slow for the next light

He comes roaring up and now he is REALLY wanting to try again

Right before the light turns green a cop turns onto our road - I pull away at the green seeing my boy racer pounding his steering wheel in frustration
':hihi:'

I now this was not a "clean" kill but it made my day - perhaps the guy in the Red Mustang will take some driving classes.

had about 40 km run this morning with S55 AMG (at least that's what it looked like) - arrogant sucker ...

-2c, dry and sunny, I had three people in a car and luggage, guy was alone. It was even ride, if the temperature was 20+ C he would get away. Even pull up to 265 km/h.

hard to do that even in Saturday light traffic - not to mention my management not appreciating such beautifull morning

looking at the pics it may have been E55 AMG, not S but not sure, road gets pretty narrow at that speed

with winter tires (albeit V rated) and strong advise from "hot" seat I did not pursue that any fiuther - I'd say at 30c he'd probably have me .... we will see after MTM visit in April

funny part was that he did not know what happened - I guess he never had the experience not being able to pass "old" dirty stationwagon, let alone having hard time to keep up with it :D

During the 2,5 years of my RS6 driving on the streets of Moscow I lost in a street/drag race :vhmmm: maybe 3,max 4 times.Once to Porsche 911:(, and that was a stupid drag race organized by streetracing.ru and I didn't take it siriously so even forgot to tun esp off :( (there was a bit of sand on the road).Second time to another RS6,which the owner claimed to be stock, but how can a stock RS6 pull away from 530hp one :hahahehe: I mean I have raced dtock beasts and pulled away like a train from them. The last one I lost to Pagani Zonda :D I mean it was pretty obvious, wasn't?The fourth time I think must have taken place, but I do not remember.Apart from these few I felt myself the KING OF THE JUNGLE.530hp allowed me to easily compete with any japs, and trust me there are a few very powerful ones, or even 996turbos and in all cases my beast felt the SH__t,if uou know what I mean.
I obviously am not claiming like I am the best and my car was the best, but I guess I was simply lucky. So instead of my killings,I shared my losses with you, because the rest of the time my beast was the KILLER. :addict:

:D NO! There are no supercars in Moscow in winter in the road.Russians are CRAZY but not to such extrems, however a sight of corvette C6 on winter road this December realy surprised me.What a lunatik!I definately did kill some Ferraris,I mean in Moscow I only met Modenas. There are others, but mostly Modenas.I remember the look on the face of Modenas driver when my almost 100k USD cheaper Audi sedan pulled away from his new red ferrari.
:bye2:
I killed one Koenig-Specials Merc CL and that one was a beast. The sound of it was louder than my Milltek with cats:)
The driver of this merc wanted to bet me 1k USD for a race, but I thought i could use that 1k somewhere else. After I killed him he could not believe it and was asking me about the car and I thought why the hell I didn't bet him,but I honestly thought he'd whip my ass.
O O O,I forgot to mention another time I lost.530hp Audi RS4.Slowly but surely that bastard was moving ahead of me.But loosing to another Audi doesn't feel like loosing to non-Audi :).
I always wanted to race against AMGs but was unlucky not to meet any that would be the same nuthead as I am to race in busy city. That reminds me,have you people watched the video of a M5 chasing RS4 on Moscow circle road?I ask because the video shows how crazy driving get :) In Europe I wouldn't risk the same road behavior because with rus police talking is easy :hihi: MONEY MONEY MONEY,the love money,so if you want to play hell on the road, you know where u can go :)

I watched that one two years ago and that is first time i saw a ''REAL'' street race on internet, races like that hapening very often in Belgrade and reason for that is same as in moscow, police = MONEY, MONEY....

Last year some guy tried to keep up with Ferrari F430 in Golf V, three people killed, storyes can go on and on...

I wonder why this year ''Gumball'' goes trough Belgrade...

LOL:D Chasing F430 in a Golf must be fun, same sort of thing as chasing a Zonda in RS6 :) However,3 deaths is very bad and that Golf driver was an irresponsible idiot.Unfortunately such street races do usually end up badly.Just a while ago in Moscow a group of streetracing enthuasists organized on weekly basis a race through the city with random checkpoints at different parts of the city,so the one who collects all of the checkpoints first wins. And to be honest it was quite popular,I mean i went to have a look once and there were a number of M3,M5 quite a lot of japs and even one RS6.However,just before the winter a girl driving to be honest I do not remember what(obviously something fast) went into a tunnel on full speed chasing two cars ahead of her.The first cars managed to squeeze themselves through traffic in the tunnel, but she went straight under a loaded truck. That was the last such race held, although on every day basis there is always some nutters doing crazy driving:)

Andy, that is so funny but SO TRUE !

They LOVE checking drivers for "identification" purposes over at 4am after we were leaving the splavovi, LOL !
And that is all that I am saying on that subject.
The best part is that we were at a bar that a city cop owns and we were waived thru the checkpoint. HILLARIOUS and SO Much fun Belgrade is that if anyone is ever in Europe and have time I strongly adivse you to stop at least for a couple days, one walk down Knez Mihajlova and you will understand.
