I'm disasppointed of the turbos back.
The integrated exhausts look like a cheap tuning-version for me.

The GT3 looks much better for me especially the alcantara interior.
But the central exhausts are not my thing

Very nice both of them and the Turbo will no doubt be a real-world monster - but I am more impressed with the GT3 optically & enginewise.

I am in LOVE with 997 Turbo

I love the numbers more than the design as I am not really a Porsche guy and 3.7 sec with tiptronic is NICE I say.4WD and even better handling than 996T will make this car A LOT OF FUN both in the city and if on rare occasion you find yourslef on a track.
What is the price in Euro and when is Turbo S and convertible are coming out?

Litle bit early for ''turbo S'' and cabrio, i think at least one more year before something of those two hit the market.

I wasn't a big Porsche fan up until now.I find both turbo and GT3 excelent and stunning looking cars,GT3 looks I prefer more though.Especialy I like the rear bumber GT3 VS turbo one.
Please explain y Porsche make these two very fast well handling sports rockets,is GT3 like for track days and turbo for road speed fanatics?I mean what is the main spirit difference between GT3 and Turbo?

AndyBG
February 25th, 2006, 01:02
For many years 911 built its reputation with wide range of diferent models.

If you take ''turbo'' and GT3 in comparing you will see that those two have very litle in comon.

GT3 is rear wheel drive, ''high reving'' N/A car withouth any lux' or comfort features, there are bucket seats, even a roll-cage, every aspect of it based on driving performance and expiriance, more focused car, in one word.

Turbo is diferent story, four wheel drive, comfort seats, tiptronic (option)...
It's aiming at other type of buyers, in it you could find every modern ''gadgets'' and luxury features, there isn't any of that in GT3.

Turbo powered counterpart for GT3 is GT2 witch is everything i said about GT3 only with two turbo chargers ''extra'' :D

Basicly, GT3 is raw version of Carrera, while turbo is more ''civilised''.
