water cooled intercooler?

Yesterday i removed my base plate from my RS6,
(build 11/2003, shortly before the RS6 plus was released)
and i recognized that my car is equipped with two water cooled intercooler. I thought this is a difference beetwenn RS6 and RS6 plus. Has anybody a explanation?

The two additional Radiators behind the Intercoolers do also come with the "Hot Weather Package" -> in Cars sold to Countries with hot Climate Conditions.

So, I should be lucky to have this equipment , although it is a german car and i did not order a hot weather package.
