A Z06 owner I work with was dismissing the RS4 and mentioned it's Nurburgring performance. I hadn't heard any numbers before, but after a search tonight this is the only thing I could come up with. Do these number seem right? (I thought it was earlier mentioned that it had done better than the 911S and E60 M5?)

Well if you read that it HAS done better than the 911 & M5.
The 8:25 time is the B5 RS4. If you look closer, you'll see the B7 RS4 time is 7:58 on that list.
BUT as far as i know that time was not official and that the RS4 will not be officially tested around the ring until spring of this year??

Oktober is not the time for a fast lap on the Nordschleife.
