Posting from Spain!

Hi all. Been reading your post these last days on the new RS4. Thanks for all the usefull information and diferent pictures of the beast.

After almost 3 years with my 2003 M3, after summer I will probably change of car.
Before my actuall M3, I drove for 3 years an Audi S3, lovely little car..., although I hated itīs haldex quattro system.

Really, my M3 is a beast, really fun to drive and drift, but Iīm waiting for the new RS4 Avant. Really Iīve been having 2 cars in mind: rs4 and Porsche carrera 4S, but day by day my mind is after a full equiped rs4 avant.

So hi everyone in the forum, and will keep in contact to learn more and more about the RS4.

Here some pics of my toys!

Well, as you know the S3 drives like a fwd and its haldex quattro system is completely different from the torsen quattro system from the rest of audis (a4-6-8 or s4-6-8) but the same as in audis tts.

The M3 really plays in an other league in terms of ride and stability compared with my S3. You know, weight distribution is perfect 50/50 front/rear with the engine situated just after the front wheels.
I first thought it would be a tricky car (rwd, 343 hp...), but itīs a very very easy car to drive fast, and unless you look for it, the back would never move and you wonīt see the dsc light (esp) flashing the whole day.

The m3īs engine is wonderfull, revs up to 8.200 rpm and sounds like music (similar to the rs4??) and itīs not very thirsty (3.200 cc).

Sooo thats my little problem, the M3 has been a wonderful car, and when you sell one car to get another, you usually expect the new one to be much better than the old one. Will the rs4 be much much better???:vhmmm: :vhmmm:

I think so, that is why I am doing it.

If your M3 sounds like music, your RS4 will sound like singing angels. No tinniness in the RS4 - it's a much better sounding car.
