Does anyone have any feedback on BMC, ITG or K&N air filters? I am not too worried about the MAF issues. It seems the problems occur when they are re-oiled. I have K&N's on my E39 M5 and had no problems (knock on wood). I think they give a higher pitched howl when stabbing the throttle on my M5. I was wondering if anyone noticed any differences when aftermarket filters are applied to an RS6.

Bought the K&N filters, but haven't installed them. After the purchase, I was convinced the stock filters were pretty efficient and that there would be problems with the MAF sensors clogging up after the re-oiling. So far, they're collecting dust.

CW:

I haven't actually taken a look at the stock filters. Maybe I'll pop the covers off to see what they look like.

Thanks,

Tom

:0: hi!
i`ve used BMC filters on my rs6 about 10,000km and no problem.
MAF sensor problem usually happens when too much oil is done.

i feel the difference btw oem filter and BMC.
(1) SOUND!
(2) 0~100KM AND 0~200KM is FASTER!(TESTED BY MY G-TECH SEVERAL TIMES)
(3) TOP SPEED : OEM --> 315 ON ANANLOG TACHO
BMC --> 325 ON ANALOG TACHO

K&N or BMC is worth that price. i think..
