After 4 years and 160 k. km with my 2001 6-speed S6, I have finally "upgraded" to 2004 RS6 Avant. S6 was great car, but sure RS6 is in completely different league having much better sound, performance and exclusivity...

Imported this car from Germany with 23 k. km on the clock. It's ebony-black with silver interior and beige alcantara roof lining. It has 19" wheels, sport exhaust and black chrome everywhere. Condition of the car is in general very good, but it needs new front brake pads. Enjoy the pics:

and with 18" winter wheels:

It looks in really good shape for 23k miles.

Are those bottomm pics with winter rims and tyres as they look different to top ones?

Balcked out chrome looks much better than mine with Chrome. Anybody know if this can be easily done retro?

S6 was nice and decently fast car and because of manual trans some "sporty" driving was also possible. Still, it was just a tool to do the job, like most of the cars on the street. Sure RS6 is faster and all, but most significant change for me is this sense, that you are sitting in something exotic. Cannot describe exactly, what it is, but it just gives you this special feeling.

I had till recently modified Camaro, which would waste my RS6 on dry surface. So I'm used to such performance. But I can drive Audi around the year, use most of its power most of the time (we have 6 months rain and snow here), drive in comfort and take my family (wife & three kids) with me. RS6 is clearly the winner:rs6kiss:...only sound of my Camaro was better, may-be just bit too loud for everyday driving.

shimmy: it's 23 k. km, not miles and yes, those are 18" winter rims on bottom picture.
