They cannot be the stock tires! The photos of that hot RS4 in Orange have corsas. Don't try those in the snow!

Why? What's wrong with them? They don't have enough grooves for you? They are optional factory installed tires for those who want real performance tires.

Not at all. Just surprised a car that touts its self as an all season performance car would use a tire that is very summer only. I am all for winter tires.

Don't know about driving in the snow, but I drive my RWD sports car on the Corsa System tires in the rain and have not experienced any ill effects. The car feels planted and handles great assuming one doesn't take chances. The tire you want to take it easy with, is the plain Corsa R-compound which is not as good in the wet but still manageable.

Yes, the r compound Corsas. That is what I was thinking of. A lot of guys use them at PCA events. Seemed like an odd stock choice, now I see the difference.

No R compound tire is recommended for snow. It would be extremely dangerous to drive any R comp tire in sub freezing temps, groves or not. They're made for track and yes, they can handle some rain, but not cold temps.

Very true, Ben. The compound on the Corsa System must be a little different as that tire is now OEM on at least three cars and I know people who have driven them in the snow. Personally, my experience is limited to Southern California winter with which you are familiar.

Yeah the R compound Corsa was OEM on the 360 Challenge Stradale, but I forgot what other cars. Are you guys saying there is more than one type of Corsa tire?
