Now that MTM has proven to us that 4.2 in a B7 can be supercharged... Why didn't Quattro Gmbh supercharge the RS4 instead of high-rev??? any thoughts?? I think they just wanted to prove that "hey we can make high rev too!!". I would have much rather supercharged the 4.2 for the RS4...

Quattro Gmbh has not done it so MTM can do it ! ! !
More seriously, MTM had for a few weeks an RS4 this summer for technical verifications. No need to tell you what will happen soon.

To supercharge a 4.2 V8 FSI is a different ballgame.

Different ballgame, yes but not impossible.
Like supercharging or turbocharging a Gallardo.........

yes but if they didnt make it 4.2 FSI and supercharge the regular 4.2 thats in the S4...
