The car performed where I wanted it to... although a little more power would have been nice to beat the other S4 on teh dyno. I think part of it was we did 4th gear dyno pulls... and my 4th is like stock 3rd so it would have effected power readings.... torque more the hp... but a little.

Over all very happy with the perfomance of the car.

The car will also be in the Feb (I believe) issure of ET for the Time Attack. There it did not do as well as I had wanted. I think the reason was I had a hole in one of my RS4 IC's from the mounting bracket tearing off (don't know how it happened). Which caused one of my turbos to develope the dentist drill noise (beginning stages of turbo blowing). This started at the ACNA Sears event 3 days before the Time Attack. We just heard the turbo noise but did not find the IC problem untill last Thursday :doh:

So motor will be comming out here in the near future to fix the problem.... should be up and running strong again.

Borders and Barnes & Noble are the two book stores I shop at. Barnes is closer so I'll swing by on my lunch break to pick up a copy or two.

Fastest at the track (1:26.611), 4th highest HP (433.47 @ wheels), and 3rd highest torque (437.49). Sweet!:applause:

One problem, your only mention in the entire article was this:

Otherwise, congrats!

Next time it would be nice though if they gave as much credit to the owners as they do the drivers. Afterall, it is the owners sinking all their $$$ into these projects.

I think my hp and especially my torque numbers were showing a little lower due to my gearing. We all did 4th gear pulls, problem is my 4th is like stock 3rd and Dynojets have no correction factors for gearing. I probably should have ran in 5th.

Yea, the Bennifer thing is Gregs attempt at humor... kind of a payback... we were giving him a little greif (in good fun) at the track. We told him next year we would have a proper award made, with us as the winner and mail it to him a week before to give to us at the event.:hihi:

Thanks everyone... getting the car back today (minus wood grain stickers) from STaSIS as they have had it for the past week or so. But I will only have it over Thanksgiving. We have been joking that it really is not my car anymore, as it splits it's time between STaSIS and AVS... I think I only really can claim 20% ownership at this point:doh:

Car is going back for motor pull and upgrades.

Will be getting some new cams and either whole new turbos (different make) or just rebuild the ones I have plus clearancing them and extrude honed the turbine inlets.... which should help them breath at the upper end.

If I go new turbo route.. maybe building a motor with forged pistons, rods, 2.8 L heads, ported/polished and boaring the motor. Not sure if I will go that route as of yet.... but if I do we are expecting between 550 to 600 wheel hp.:D :hahahehe:

car did not do as well as I wanted at the Time Attack and I dont want that to happen next year. Sorry I am totally rambling now:doh:
