sportauto finally tested the M6 (BTW: the next issue of sportauto will cover the F430):

Tested car was equipped with Pirelli Corsa (i.e. sport tires) which are not available as an option to customers. The car still had the speed limit of 259kph installed (The question is why? If they even mounted tires which cannot be ordered as OEM equipment...)

Hockenheim (with Corsa tires): 1:14,4
Hockenheim (with regular tires): 1:15,9
NBR (with Corsa tires, regular time not available): 8:09

0-200 kph: 12.8 secs (seems they selected the tested car properly...)

sportauto claims that the M6 with regular tires but without the 259kph-limit would probably do around 8:09 on the NBR as well.

Fun to see they stick whit testing both r- compound as well as street tiers. Thats real god fun. By the way it was fast around Hockenheim:0:

8.09 is fast, i guess M5/6 is pretty equal in time around if same tiers. But who know, it may been horst mode or temps that made it, or the 50kg as well? Its hard to say i guess. To bad they dident run regular tiers to compere, but its hard to be consistent on that long of a track as well.

I would hoped for it to go around in about 8.05 min.

This as well makes it wery intresting to see against RS4 on r-compound and what time it make.

The M6 could be a little faster without the limiter, or M package (305km/u limited)
