kinda expensive for a modded car tbh.. So imported? left hand drive?

vs2
November 10th, 2005, 19:14
It's in New Zealand $

Japanese cars are made to be modded because of the 280hp limit they have / had? This is not a riced out car. Its in GT2 territory in just about every aspect.

This car moves. Autocar did an article on it. How about 80-120kmh in 1.44 secs.

Just checked the site...over 18000 hits in 5 days!!!

Kappe
November 10th, 2005, 19:24
so.. You cant ask the price for how much you modded it ROFL! :D

For that kind of money I could buy 4 second hand RS6's rofl.. Or I Could buy a new ferrari F430.. Or a 911GT2.. Or a lamborghini gallardo or or or..
Just to expensive for a modded R34 tbh..
Ask like round 80/100K..

Well you don't have to be such a smart-ass about it. Obviously you don't know what you are talking about.

4 months ago I got offered over $200k NZD but did not want to sell at that time. The same guy brought and imported an M Spec (not NUR) and has 24 Million Yen in the car so far...no joke.

if you look on the Prospec Motorsport website you will see all the cars sell quickly and around 55-60K Pds.

A NUR just sold in Australia for 190K AUD

In the USA when Motorex was in business a NUR was brought in and sold for 110K USD.

190k NZD = 130k USD
190k NZD = 178k AUD
190k NZD = 74k British
190k NZD = 15M yen.

Thanks and I know exactly what you are saying. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. I'm 45 and its just time to move on. That ad on Trademe has had 19000 hits in 6 days!!! I get the bow down all the time in the Skyline but its usually always by kids..lol Even the guy's kid that I brought the CUDA off in Wisconsin asked for me to send a photo of it to him. I doubt if there has ever been a Skyline in Wisconsin.

But the CUDA is no slouch 650hp (900 w/nitrous) 604ci Hemi Mega Block.
Just a different beast that does 10sec 1/4's.

So I'll have that and my RS6 and I'll be a happy camper. :addict:

Awesome. Fetching big bucks to now these Muscle Cars. I'm not really into the investment / matching #'s side of it as I want a car I can drive.

A guy at the Volo car museum told me that 2 matching # CUDA's sold recently for 4 & 5 Million $US!!!!! Holy Sheep5hit Batman.

here's mine.

Damn dude $130,667.02 US. Nice car though for real. I'd probably buy it if it were like 100k less, lol. :D

How does the thing run? Have you ever dyno tested it? Around how much power is it running like 500-600?
What made you want to get some components from Nismo while others from Mines and HKS vs. just getting a lot of them from the same tuner?

vs2
November 11th, 2005, 06:58
At 21psi its making 640-680 hp using a DynaPack.
Used 'Mines" & 'HKS' & 'Nismo' because they are top of the line and professional tuners in Japan chose the Spec. sheet for this car.

CarbonFibre
November 11th, 2005, 20:00
I guess your aim was to get the best parts that each manufacturer makes. What I meant was why choose a Nismo intercooler over an HKS one and things like that. I mean I could understand why you wouldn't buy like a suspension from HKS and things like that.

... or wait another year + and get a new GT-R (Skyline) in left hand drive, with a warranty for $70,000 +-

Yes, but the infamous RB26 DETT is gone forever. They are kind of Iconic cars in Japan, NZ, Australia, England etc and we will never see them again. The final edition NUR model (like mine) were all sold out in 1 day (they made 1000 only)

Ck the link on the 1st post....30,000 hits in 10 days!!! Why so many hits I wonder?

Maybe i should keep mine in storage for 10 yrs or so as it will be worth a lot more in years to come.

A lot of people say there was and will only be one GTR and now its gone for good.

Ok nice.. but this nürburg edition of yours is one of the thousands of skyline "special" editions.. BUT THERE AL THE SAME! hahaha there's nothing special about it :D

It's not as different like a BMW M3 csl.. or like a Audi RS6+ etc etc.. So why would you buy this over a normal (tuned) R34 skyline? (or 1 of the other 100 "special" editions)

So you can tel people when your standing next to exactly the same skyline, that your R34 is the "NUR" edition??
The will ask ok woooww really?!?! Why is it called the NUR edition? And you will say becaus.. becaus.. Yeah becaus it's the same ass all the other R34 skyline's and R34 "special" editions..

I like the skyline th0.. And yours especially, But it's not more special than a not NUR edition tbh.
And it's still no ferrari.. So It won't worth a lot more in the years to come.. I think a lot less tbh.. Or you have to find some rich skyline fan :p But the most rich people don't buy skylines tbh, especially not for that kind of money

vs2
November 17th, 2005, 09:02
uh..ohh you again.

OK, you win...and I can't be bothered writing down all the differences between a standard RB26 and the NUR engine.

So your saying that I'm smarter than you are :0: nice
Sorry for that.. But I'm just telling the truth :) If you can't handle the truth or my opinion just don't read it and dont post. And just go dream of your nice RS4 rim picture. lol

@mi021le: the differents are really small, No different in performens. And just tel me the differents against the other SPECIAL R34 editions (yes the NUR is not the only "special" edition)
And If you can come up with some differentses it woudn't matter becaus this skyline we are talking about is not standard.. Not even close.. So why would it be more expensive..

A quick search gave me this.

Differences between VSPEC I and VSPEC II

-Dry-carbon bonnet
-N1 rear calliper & disc
-Drilled aluminium pedals
-Black cloth interior Vs grey
-clear front & side indicators

-Radiator has plastic caps instead of aluminium
-Boot lid doesn't have lining inside
-different colour plastic centre console
-different stereo
-oil pressure read in kPa on the instrument panel / MFD
-no adjustment for the xenon beam
-different design switches/adjuster of the rear-view mirrors
-slightly different painting technique were the engine room is painted body colour rather than black base
-carbon rear diffuser made by different company
-different design steering wheel (very slight design change)

Differences between VSPEC II and NUR

N1 block
N1 water pump
N1 oil pump
N1 turbines
N1 exhaust manifolds
N1 pistons
N1 piston rings
N1 con rods
Balanced crank
N1 I/C rubber hoses

Gold engine cam cover
Gold Chassis plaque
Special Millennium body colour available
Special metal-look V-spec II Nur/ M-spec Nur badges

300Km/h speed meter

Yeah the trim levels were V spec, V spec II, and M spec with the Nür editions being made for all three in limited numbers. (Edit: apparently there was a normal version non Vspec as well) The M-spec Nür is therefore the best possible of stock R34s that were ever made (one could argue).

From Prospec MS, M-spec Nür editions with between 3,000 and 22,000 km on them were sold for between £54,000 and £58,000. These prices include some tax I believe as they have the following quote: "Listed prices are UK On The Road prices. If you are outside UK customer, please feel free to contact us to find out FOB Japan prices."
Vs2's car is selling for the equivalent of £75,713.66. I can understand you wanting to charge more considering how much money was put into it, but modifications like that do not make the car any more valuable unless you can find a very specific buyer that wants that type of thing and is willing to pay a premium for it.

You can see that the Nür versions of cars do command a premium over their normal counterparts in pricing though.

Did you get any bids?

November 17th, 2005, 12:06
ok...I didn't wanted to say this...but please don't sell it!!!:brag: ...I mean...it's your car and everything but maybe in a few more years that car will be a lot more expensive than now...and if you sell it...well...maybe you can buy yourself a brand new Audi R8:hihi: or a nice Cuda ;)...

anyway, i hope everything goes ok with the sellung of your car mate, and of course good luck with your new one :bye:

PS....Erick got mad dude...phear!! :MTM: ...saludos :)

man, if I had the money, that car is so freaking nice :-)

Here is a few shot that Autocar did.

Car did 0-100 in 3.7 but since found out that with the new 4.1 gearing and with the Getrag 6 speed that launching in 2nd is better and requires one less gear change.

80-120 kmh in 1.44 sec

Car is built for the road and weighs in at nearly 1700 kg with driver.

1/4 mile would be 11 - 11.3.

I don't know what to do about the price as 3 years ago when I brought it $190k NZD was approx. 57K British pds. Its just that the Kiwi $ has gotten strong.
