LA traffic sucks !!!!

I've owned a Tip car ( for 3 months) and it doesn't cut it.
I've owned many 6MT cars and love the performance.

Why has Audi/VAG taken soooooo long to bring it's 'Revolutionary' DSG tranny to longitudally mounted motor cars ?

BMW has had SMG for a while.
They have SMGIII now, in the M5, which is great.

They, along with Ferrari will have Twin Clutch systems in production cars within 3 years.

Audi/VAG has had this tranny for years.

They have on in the Bugatti Veyron, making 1000bhp, so we know it can handle the power.

Why do they just send out the new S8 with Tip ? When the M5 has SMGIII ?

Tips just can't preform like a DSG or MT.

Damn you Audi.....

I want a DSG RS4 or S4 for that matter.

Clutches in major Metropolitan areas just suck.

ok, rant over..... :D

I'm on your side... GIVE US THE DSG NOW!
I've been riding a A3 3.2Q with the DSG, and those shifts... just awsome!
Put in the RS4 and it would go like... :revs:

My guess is that they are probably developing the lengthwise DSG for the B8 'mid-engined' platform, and aren't going to bother developing one for the current 'front engined' platform which is going to disappear in a few years anyway.

I second this notion. I also feel your pain with the Tippy Box. I have had mine for about 1 1/2 years now, can't stand the damn thing now. I totally regret my decision to get one.
