MTM stage II--MTM software together with 2 ITG performance air filters and a stainless steel cat-back exhaust system will bring the horsepower up to 520 and 516 lb/ft of torque. The exhaust system is electronically and vacuum operated to open and close Pierberg bypass exhaust valves. This makes for 2 very enhanced exhaust notes. MTM performance transmission management software. MTM performance tiptronic software

Bosch sport bypass valves
MTM- Front & rear spring perches for 15mm lowering

My dads RS6 (also my brother fast ones dad) Mods in Sig bellow. Also I will post dyno sheets when i get a chance. So far we dynoed 400 Whp and 480 Wheel torque. Which is about 540 hp and 640 torue at the flywheel (with using 25% drivetrain loss). I am assuming with the right tires the beast is good for high 190s top speed.

Et was pretty good but the trap speed could be a little higher.

:vhmmm: did you turn both AC and ESP off?

Also how long did you wait in between runs? Did you run right when you got to the track or did you have some cooling time?

PS: Try coming to the east coast where now its in the 40s and you might be able to pull low 12s with 110+ trap speeds in this weather, like we did.

Well, THERE's an interesting question. Answer:

Car and Driver got 12.7 @ 109 in their comparison test between the RS 6, the E55 AMG and the M5 when the RS 6 was first introduced.

No magazine or other entity I've seen has ever matched that time, with most of the times coming in around 13.1.

Popular Mechanics (yeah, I know-not the foremost authority) did EVERYTHING they could think of to get the RS 6 into the 12s in an article that was all about "stock" cars that would pull 12s. Best they managed was 13.1. FWIW in this article, the E55 pulled 12.6, whereas it pulled 12.2 in the C&D article.

The trap speeds tell the story, I think: The E55 is generally @ about 114-118mph at the 1/4, while the RS 6 is @ < 110mph.

The RS 6 is ahead through about 60-70 mph, then buh-bye, the E55 is GONE.

Moral: I don't think many (if any) stock RS 6s would ever pull 12s with a normal driver and launch. C&D has a LONG history of getting the best times for every car they test, so it's not surprising to me that the RS 6 would follow in that tradition.

I was no where near 12s, but then I had all season tires, more than half tank of gas(93octane), and my car is heavier than stock.
I am not saying all RS6 can run 12s, but with good weather, good tire, good octane, good driver, 12s is very possible.

well...it's only stereo modification.
For engine mod, Miltek catback exhaust is installed, was going to get OCT chip and tip chip, but guess what...i can't remove my custom kick panel :(
After driving stratmosphere RS6 today, I am desperate to get OCT chip and tip chip...so much power and butter smooth shifting.

Allright I will enter, dont have no paper to prove it but for me I did it for the butt sensor feeling when I nail it. I have not had time to dyno it but I WILL and never ran it in the 1/4 mile because I dont care what she does there, if I wanted a 1/4 mile car I would have bought a suped up Supra. Anyway here is what I have done to the car.

O.CT ECM tunning

Milltek Dowpipes & Cat's
Milltek exhaust system
5.0 Bar Fuel Pressure regulator
Forge Diverter Valves
RNS-e Navigation System, (the best mod, hehhe thats for Ben)
And last but not least, ALOT of tender loving care until all 550hp (so they say) is needed and then she responds with that growl.

1/4 mile times I've seen include 12.8@109mph, from Automobile Magazine's euro-sedan shootout, and 12.63@108.64 from Motor Trend's comparo w/ the E55 AMG. Look at this page, it's also got the best numbers I've ever seen for the RS6 in 0-60 (4.3sec), slalom (67.8), skidpad (.89g), and 60-0 braking (113ft.). I have seen three MTM 535 bhp RS6,(one is totaled), and two MTM 594 bhp RS6 here in Taipei, in addition, I saw one heavy modified A6 4.2 Q, put all RS6 parts and MTM mods become another 535 bhp "rs6" ?

the 594 bhp is so BAD

was that 515 hp at the wheels, or "calculated" to the crank?

As far as mods I've got

OCT ECM/TCM
Milltek DP/Exhaust
Forge Diverter valves
Aquamist intercooler injection system

I went from 318 AWHP to 404 AWHP and 330 AWTQ to 420 AWTQ.

Car only had 7000 miles on it at the time, so I suspect the poor initial showing was crap gas/95F weather... Another RS6 dyno'd directly after I did and only put down 328 awhp...

To set the record straight. I am the new owner of this car. I went straight to the dyno to ensure the numbers were correct. The first pull it put down was around 360hp and 470torque. We obviously knew something was wrong. I discovered the ITG air filters were in pieces and scattered throughout the air box. I took it to AutoScope in Dallas and had them put factory air filters back in it. Pulled and cleared codes to ensure no problems. We went back on the dyno and put down 417hp and 460 torque. To think this car would put down 515hp is not realistic seeing as it is only a stage II set up and should only have 535hp to the crank. To put down 515hp to the wheels this would only be a 3% reduction in horsepower. So yes, it is still a very powerful car but who ever did the first dyno pull, I have no idea how they got those numbers. Both dynos were Mustang dynos. I do plan on more upgrades and maybe we can achieve the 515hp.

These guys have effectively run off with all the money for the next 20 years. If you didnt have your money in your pocket...they grabbed it and the next 20 years of earnings along with it.

This is it. The car is tip top. I had it inspected once I got it home and it has no problems. I have actually contacted the previous owner and all service records have been accounted for unlike previous posts have stated. It is getting the new DRC as we speak. Besides the air filters the DRC is the only problem it had. Can't wait to do down pipes and cats.

dahlback intakes (heat rapped)

numbers in sig. have gotten around to the suspension yet, for lack of money. but if audi could pay me first that would be helpful and getting the kw's. lol we will see what she ends up with in the next year. :rs6kiss: once i get the rs4 back.

I just love the sound when the turbos charge...., you can hear it at first gear, really amazing! And then the sound of the gearchange... nice!

This post made me dig for my 1/4 mile times... stock I got 13.36 at 106.3, 4th and last 1/4 mile pull I've ever done. 80ish outside. Never ran at the strip with my O.Ct chip, but I'd assume mid to high 12's at 110+.
