Correct. And I was faster than both the RS4 :) by more than 1 second. :incar:

Superstage:
1.38,2 (A6 2.7T) vs. 1.39,5 (red RS4) vs. 1.41,10 (silver RS4).

And they used R-tyres and slicks. I was using P Zero Rosso - that's a big disadvantage.

The red RS4 is really nice. Tuned by DBR / MTM to 580 hp / 700 Nm. BBS LeMans rims.

The silver RS4 is stock except slicks 235/35/18.

The Superstage is NOT a straight line! Far from it!
It is more like a two stage fast slalom course and a turn back in the same course to the start/finish line.

It is very driver dependent and note that many drivers are quite unexpereinced.
The TTs did very good times I must say.

I have it on video and hope to be able to host it sometime soon.

My car is a 2002 A6 2.7TQ MTM stage 1. Approx. 312 bhp / 445 Nm. And I have tiptronic/automatic... :)
Std. brakes and std. sports chassis (lowred 2 cm).

The red RS4 is very modified. It has the brakes (or was it the calipers?) from the LeMans winner Audi R8...No ABS.

The red A6 Avant is a 1.8T 2001 with ACE/Hohenester chip 180 hp. Manual gearbox. He did 1,48.3 which you can compare with my time. More or less same car - different engine.

The blue S4 sedan had a very good driver.
He had about 310 bhp - 500 Nm and did 4 tries with the same time! That is very difficult! 1.33,2.

Conclusion: VERY FUN! I'd go back there anyday and check out if my Movits would have done anything to reduce the time :)

Do you see the blue lines and the green 'gates' on the picture? Imagine that at 140+ km/h something and that you have to make a U-turn and go back, plus a 90 degree before the finish line.

It is very hard for the brakes and the chassis. To succeed you need a car that is very well tuned.

Here is a list of a few Audis in Superstage, all driven by a proffessional driver.
The Audi quattro A2 -81 is still the fastest:
