This reminded me of a VW/Audi meet at the VOA HQ parking lot here last summer. After he had given some formal remarks, Hunt talked to a small group of enthusiasts. I heard him say that he wanted to consider moving VW from Metro Detroit -- said something like "there's really no reason for us to be here" and expressed a preference for an East Coast location, maybe Virginia or the Carolinas.
Anyhow, now that he's quit VW, I wonder if maybe he left, perhaps in part, because he pitched that move but his bosses wouldn't go for it?
