RS6 Navigation Plus

Guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a guy selling the RNS-e units US at the Nav-plus forum. http://www.navplus.us/
Go to the for sale section and you will see a thread by a guy named PROXUS.
The prices are good and he has new or used units.
I dont get any commision from that nor do I want any, just wanted to share this info if anyone is looking into doing this.
Its an easy mod and believe me you will love the system.

I ordered my RNS-e of PROXUS about two weeks ago.

It says 1,500 to 1,600 plus shipping.

I am waiting for an exact quote.

I don't anticipate any issues and I'm not going to run the GPS antenna to the back I'm just going to put it up in the dash when I'm tapping into the speed sensor (GALA)

I don't have the time to do it screw it up on my own, and THEN have to pay to have it done right.

I admire those of you who can do these mods on your own; that's just not me.

Where are you in Indiana? I am in Chicago, if you are not too far away I can install it for you for nothing. It's that easy.
If you have the Navigation from the factory no VAG-com is needed, at least I didnt for mine and everything works great.

When (:D ) you get the RNS-e you dont need the phatbox, all you need is some 2GB SD cards and BAM, you have alot of songs that will show up on the screen with the all the info. I did have the Phatbox and still use it in another Audi A8 we have. But the SD cards are the way to go.
Now if thats not enough reason to get the nav. system I dont know what is.

Hey, the Chicago Bears have been my favorite team since I was 7 years old. I even like the fact now (well, for the last 20 some years) that they suck. Why? Cause I ain't no stupid BAND WAGON FAN like we had out here with the sudden surge of Laker "fans" with the flags a few years back!:rolleyes:

yup, I ordered mine from Proxus too; great pices and packages. Very easy to install if you have a 2002+ C5 platform (if nene can do it....than anyone can).

I ordered a Euro "P" unit flashed with US software etc. Now I can add the OEM Sirius tuner and keep my phatbox all together in one nice OEM package.

I've consolidated all of my RNS-E knowledge into one long thread for the C5 community (yes, nene's thread is in there):
