Pagani Zonda F (602hp) beat Nürburgring lap record?

We would like to announce very honoured that our homologated version of the Pagani Zonda F (602hp) has achieved the RECORD OF NÜRBURGRING 2005. Although the bad weather conditions (it was rather cold), the cold asphalt and the late hour ( 08.00 pm) the homologated version of the Zonda F achieved the record.
We are very happy and very satisfacted, because the conditions of the circuit were not so favourable.
You can find the incredible time in the German magazine "Sport Auto".

The rumor says they did 7:32.5, so I'm not sure which record they broke?

Doesn't that Donkervoort D8 RS (7:18.1 or 7:18.01, not sure) still hold the record (being a real production car is arguable)? The list I looked at has the Porsche Carrera GT as 7:32.4 --(definitive time by Horst Von Saurma) and then another time of 7:28 by Walter Röhrl (Autobild July 2004).

The Donkervoort D8 270 RS did it in 7,18.10 minutes to be exact.

Well if you read the text letter for letter it says that they broke the Nürburgring record for 2005. Does that mean that the Pagani is the fastest car around the track this year:vhmmm:

Oh, that thing. As with others, I still say the Carrera GT is the true record holder since the car has like air conditioning, a radio, power windows, etc. The Doonkerwhatever and this thing both look like they found some loopholes to basically allow a race car to qualify. Did you see the wing on that Edo Porsche? :bigeyes:

In teori im ca 30sek after Horst in RS6(r.tiers) as well as in CSL ca 30sek after him. And i know teori an pracktik is not the samme. But if me as well did spend the time Horst do on the ring it would be very much closer for sure. :D And had free laps whit no traffick.

For the record my RS6 time was just sat after a few lap in r-tiers, it then exploded, so no moore driving to come down in time:(

Some day i will go Northen loop in a RS6 plus on r.tiers:thumb:
