Nice pics Erik, looks like a great turn out.

Question, Gote looks like he did better in almost all time slips?
He had
1:42.15/1:33.90/1:23.41/1:23.52/1:24.50/1:21.86/1:21.61

and winning EVO had
1:37.08/1:34.57/1:29.72/1:31.19/1:25.79/1:25.60/1:25.11

Am I seeing it right?

This is easier to read:
http://www.challenge.nu/resultattullinge.htm

The winner is N# 37. R-tires I think.

Yes, Gote likes to keep decreasing the times.
It was raining in the morning, hence the crappy lap times.
But he's on slicks. And getting the right temperature was very difficult (=impossible)

N#28 in the Viper is quite impressive as well. Running slicks too.

I'm N# 19. I need more hp, but I'm still the fastest diesel ;)

And I'm faster than the RS6 Plus although I lack 340 hp :wo:

OK, I see now;)

Faster in your A3 than the RS 6 plus? Wow, no offense, but unless your Mr Schumacher's equal, that RS 6 driver wasn't the Shizzle ma nizzle.:D

So then, let me ask you Gote, what did you think of the CSL with slicks? It was your first time right?

A big difference over the R Compounds I'm sure.

Also, how many others came with slicks. Second place out of 60 some guys sure seems pretty good!:thumb:

Thanks Ben!

The slicks accually never became slicks due to they was 8 years old and you stay in line one houer and then do a lap of 2km.

For a slick to preform as it should it need to get as hot as 95-100 degrees. Minimum temp it need to even grip some is 60 degres.

I dident get over 40 degres Celsius in the front, and dident get moore than 50 degres celsius in back. Also i did have to much camber, but its a to long story to tel.

Its much moore hard to get temp in a slick than a r-tier.

Im confident that if i next year have tiers heaters around the slicks before start and a slicks from 2006, i will drop my time fore sure. These heater Loaded used in a sort of same event and by just having them on they got 80 degres then you feel the g-forces for sure. I was sliding around whit no grip.

No problems whit the brakes, but just go one lap at a time and then whait one houer :(

In some days i will try real track Anderstorp whit a year old slicks, even these are harder slicks D4(ran Pirelli D6 in challenge its the softest) i think its no problem to reach griping temp.

Gee its past midnight here, god night.

Hmm, that´s not what I heard.. :vhmmm: As far as I know u bought your Pirelli D6:s last week in Sthlm, and drove the car from the tire shop with slicks..

Looks like u did pretty well anyway, no need making up stories.

Dont belive all you hear!

Please understand that i would never make up any stories, its not my game, im not a kid. Im totaly aware that many Swedish peopel is wisiting this place. I bought my D6 from jokki motorsport and not the place where i drove from workshop. The viper and i by at the same place, and if you dident know tiers have a date stamp on them. Check whit the viper guy and see what date his tiers is from! Mine is the samme, we by thise for 66 dollar a pice, go figure if you get new slick for that.

Its tru that i drove them from shop, but dident buy at shop, i guess you dident think of that. The same story i whright here is also on rejsa, and i would make a fool of my selv to make up things. And im not a fool.

What do you know about anything, i did not do so well, if the slicks would come to operating temps as 90-100 degrees c, i would have done well.
To come in here as a visitor, im not sure the guys will take you for reall, i can back up all my stories told( so just try me and you see). Maybee you want to se an invoice from the company and fotos of tier stamp date?

Regards

Yeah, Gote never struck me as the kind of person who needs to lie to make friends. :trash:

Gote, so what you're saying is, you'd have been better off just bringing your R Comps that you're familiar with, and then winning the whole thing! :D

Maybe next time.

Well the first time i drove this track whit the CSL i got 1,23,74
Now was my second time i drove the track whit CSL.

On this kind of track you always go down in time the moore times you drive it. All that been ther moore than twice have got better times, whit the same car and setup. If i put it this way, i feel pretty sure i will go under 1,23,74 the next time whit r-tiers.

Im not sure if will go down as much as 2 seconds. But maybe, its many turns and the slower ones nead a late apex i learned this time. We will see next time i will try whit r-tiers.

The thing is that just by driving slicks its not the same as you will preform better than r-tiers on this kind of track. Much becuse you just go one lap, and in that way its impossibel to get the operating temp a slick neád to grip outpreform r-tiers in a big way.
And by doing donuts and big slalom on the runway just dosent give it the neaded temp, espesaly mine as they was so old as 8 years i guess you cant expekt much of them, but now i treid.

Its very possibel to go faster in slicks but then you nead to have tierheaters to get the them solid temperd to say 80 degrees then push them by abuse to 95-100. Then they will not lose grip as easy as mine did when i phused them.
But hey Ben you know this, but not everybody does.
All that visit moore than one time is going to get down in time for sure. Ask Erik :thumb:
The Evo in top have 700nm and what i heard over 450-500hp in 1400-1450kg whit r-tiers, this combined whit he can drive :thumb:
Me in the CSL is pulling on 4,22kg per horse power ( CSL 1520kg included 75kg driver and petrol divaded by the 360hp) and some of the others are pulling on about 3kg per HP. I think its fair for me to tune wiht sliks, but next year i will have propper ones and the right temp in them. Then i may bee on top, will see:confused:

Yeah, if you can't get at least two laps, then like you said, you'll never get the slicks to warm up. R Compounds would probably be better for next time, unless everyone is allowed two or three consecutive laps.:thumb:

Well, an EVO with stock turbo and pump fuel would have about 550 nm and 380-400 hp.

As said i just herd this at place, i talked to the driver and he was not the owner of the car so he seemed not to be sure. All i know that EVO is not stock. As you drive an EVO you may inlighten us what godies the black winner car have. Just curius cuse its talked about, but it so many different stories( race gearbox massive tourq so on).

The strange thing when you ask poepel that drive tuned car, they never seems to know how much power they have.

I don't know exactly what is done to that EVO so I think it's best I don't say too much. :)

But I know that it still has the stock turbo which limits the hp output (but gives good torque at low revs), don't know about gearbox etc.

If I keep my own EVO for next year I will change to a slightly smaller turbo that is not as laggy as the one I have now, it is a pain to have a laggy car on a twisty track like Challenge Tullinge.

Regarding not knowing how much power you got when tuning a car is probably because not so many take the engine to an engine dyno which is the only way to really know..

I would never tune my car at a tuner if they dident dyno it before and after, hard to know what you pay for if not tested before and after.
I guess you did see my griping problems att Bajamajorna kurvan up close:) .
A fast corner like that and the fast combination befor is relly where the differens is, in preforming sliks and not.
Like your car, its od:thumb: see you next year.

Well I sort of agree but it is often very expensive to put the engine on an engine dyno because you have to build a lot of custom stuff to mount the engine and electric systems etc. It is also possible to put the car on a rolling road dyno but then you won't really know the engine power..

Yes I got a close look at your sideways action in the Bajamaja curve, looked quite exciting. :hihi:

The CSL is really a fast and nice looking car, I will try to beat you next time. :mech: :hahahehe:

Am I right thinking Azad:s Lotus was for sale earlier this summer?

If so, anyone know if this is still the case and how I can reach him?
