Well, it definately looks better in black. That way you can't see the ultra funky rear lines around the tailgate! Look at how awkward the rear bumper and taillight area looks (seem lines). Not as nicely executed as an Audi should be done. The Infiniti FX45 has a lot better rear end and just as nice of a side and front angle.

The Audi (at least according to the pics I've seen so far) has the better interior though. One thing also with the FX45, all the bits inside that look like metal, ARE metal. In the past, this has always been the case with Audis as well, but ever since the new A6, they are starting to put more plastic "metal look" bits in there. I even realised that the A8 has this in some places as well! (door trim!).

To me, plastic painted to look like metal is a big ding on points, will be interested to see if the Q7 does it right.

Ben:addict: (and nope, don't have one on order).

The car looks nice, although could be just a bit better looking, especially at the rear.I have been at one of the dealers today and they showed me these pics.As the result I have been persuaded to get one.I have been thinking of getting SUV for a long time and have changed my mind from Cayenne to RRS and from RRS to Touareg, and finaly it looks like I am finally making the decisiion. The first car was promissed to be here in Moscow in November for certification.I cant wait to get a test drive to see if Audi have come up with a decent SUV.

I can't believe how big the Q7 is. It's sooooooooo long. It's like a monster truck. The thought of mums clogging London streets with these things as they take their kids to school is bound to antagonise the anti-SUV lobby.

That said it looks beautiful. The exterior styling is excellent. Well done boys! The interior manifests the quality you now expect from Audi. Terrific.

I hope this thing is good off-road and I'm dying to see how it handles.

Best reason I can think of to start a large family!!!!!!!!
