That is nice. What were they originally shooting for? 500HP?

LOL, would be stupid, since the E60 M5 delivers 507hp (400 HP) standard. This shows it has more power then quoted. But I bet alot of money on it, that it would be less when they do it again, but somewhere else.
Still nice figures though.

Edit: just to mention, I'm not saying you're stupid, but detuning it to 500HP and then bragging about it will.

I was being sarcastic silly!!!!
I thought they were going for a lot more power, and the 530HP out of the V10 seemed less than expected. So, sarcastically, if they were shooting for 500HP, the 530HP won't look so bad!!!

Iv heard that bmw said this engine could handle 600ps.After seeing the video Im sure this engine can get to 600ps with some bolt ons chip,intakes,throttle bodies,exhaust ect...
they dynoed the car with the hood clossed and no fans and got 530ps.Thats amazing for that to happen.I lost 30 hp from my hood being shut but still had fans blowing on my car.
Im sure 550ps is possible with just opening the hood.
